  • Parent/Teacher Conferences

    Odyssey Early College and Career Options will hold all parent-teacher conferences online this school year.  We will be hosting conferences on Wednesday, October 28, from 3:30 pm -7:00 pm and Thursday, October 29, from 7:30 am- 7:00 pm. All conferences will be 20 minutes in length.

    To schedule your preferred time for a parent-teacher conference,

    1. Click HERE 
    2. Click on the name of your student's teacher under “select staff.”
    3. Select the desired date/time for your conference.
    4. Submit the requested information.
    5. Complete the “add your details” and “provide additional information” section.
    6. Click “Book”
    7. Click “New Booking” for additional teachers and/or students.

    After you schedule a conference, the date and time are reserved for you. You will receive an email confirmation of your conference with a unique link for video conferencing.  If you choose to have a conference via a phone call or if you are having trouble with the video conferencing, the instructor will call you at your designated time with the number you provide.

    If you are unable to sign up for a time and date, please send an email to your student’s teacher.  Once they receive your email, they will attempt to schedule a conference with you. Thank you for your support of your student’s education.

  • Odyssey Early College and Career Options Return to Learn Plan 

    Thank you for your continued support and trust. We know that waiting is hard. We intend to release the best quality information and plan to you, as we deal with an ever-changing environment.  Please click this link to view Odyssey Early College and Career Options “Return to Learn” document.  This information outlines the change to remote learning with hybrid features, as mandated by the board of education last Wednesday.  You will find answers to your questions and examples to support our return in the document. Over the course of today and this week you will also receive emails outlining computer and textbook checkout, class schedules, orientation night, and more. Additionally, all instructors will be calling their students to introduce themselves and answer your questions regarding your student's return.

    • If you missed the computer checkout and textbook pickup, call 328-2088.
    • Teachers are actively calling students to introduce themselves and prepare them for the start of school.  Please make sure your phone information is updated in Parent Connect.
    • As a reminder from instructors, students will log into Schoology on Monday morning and access the appropriate Webex link to join their class. 
    • Unfortunately, not all college textbooks were available at the time of computer checkout. Students will be contacted when they are available for pick up.
    • If your student is experiencing technology issues, please contact 328-2031 for assistance.

  • Parent/Guardian/Teacher Conferences

    It’s hard to believe we are more than halfway through the first quarter of the school year! Despite the challenges of the pandemic, it’s still vital for families to connect with their child’s teacher(s). Parent/Guardian/Teacher conferences will soon be taking place, and although they may be virtual or different than in the past, there are still some things that never change. For starters, be prepared with the questions you have for your child’s teacher(s). Second, be open and honest and share your child’s strengths and weaknesses, letting the teacher know how best to work with your student. Third, keep the lines of communication open and let your child’s teacher(s) know the best way to reach you. Ask the best way to contact them should you have questions or concerns that arise.
