    • Our next Gifted Parent Meeting is on Thursday, December 3, from 4:30-5:30. Please pre-register for this event on the GT Announcements page by 5pm on December 2, to join our community.  In this meeting, you will hear from Mark Hess, District 11’s Gifted Program Specialist in which he will share some Social-Emotional supports for gifted learners in their intensities and how to thrive.

     

    • Our second Gifted and Talented Accountability Committee (GTAC) Meeting is on Thursday, December 10, from 4:00-5:00. We will continue the theme of supporting the Social-Emotional Needs of Gifted Learners as well as share updates for GT in D11.

     

    • If you have not yet indicated your interest in participating in GTAC this year, please complete this form.  If you have already received an invitation or if you attended the previous GTAC meeting, there is no further action needed on your part.

     

    • Spring Semester, 2021 - CU Platinum Public Speaking Course
      • Tuition: School District 11 will pay tuition
      • Student Prerequisites: Student in good standing/Sophomores - Seniors
      • High School: All D11 high school students
      • Instructor: UCCS instructor - Laura Austin Eurich leurich@uccs.edu
      • Format: Asynchronous/online - One organizational online meeting prior to the start of the course (tbd) with instructor to provide an overview of the course
      • Transferable Credits: Most colleges and universities indicate a Public Speaking course requirement. College credit will be applied to a CU transcript which may transfer to a college of your choice.
      • Registration: Students will receive online registration instructions with the course code through UCCS. Apply, claim account, then register.
