Please see the information below for our next two sport programs getting under way - Wrestling and Cross Country.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Wrestling

Next Monday, September 19th, the Wrestling season begins!

All athletes interested in going out for Wrestling (Wrestling is CoEd) should plan to join us on Monday, September 19th in the Holmes Cafeteria from 4:00-5:15pm for an organizational meeting to get all of your wrestling questions answered and for some light workout.

At the meeting, students can get signed up, talk about sports fees, physicals (a medical physical is required before completing full contact workouts), and practice plans for the coming week. Students who attend the Monday practice and information session will be sent home with the details from the coaching staff.

We understand many interested wrestlers are currently in a sport, and cannot attend, or some may already have a schedule conflict. Missing Monday is not a requirement for participation and the information will also be posted on the Athletic Website.

Looking forward to seeing you on Monday!

    Cross Country

Tuesday, September 27th, the Cross Country season begins!

Coach Montana Gottman is currently working with the Coronado High School Cross Country team and is really excited to see a large turnout of Hawk Runners! Coach Gottman will hold a practice and information session on Tuesday, September 27th at 4:00 in the Holmes Courtyard. On Tuesday, students will learn when and where practices begin on campus, how to access the locker rooms, and other program specific details.

Students who attend the Tuesday practice will be sent home with the season's information. Interested runners who cannot make the Tuesday meeting should look for the information to also be posted on the Athletic Website after the Tuesday practice. Missing Tuesday is not a requirement for participation.

Because Cross Country is a D11 Hybrid, intramural sport, we ask families to also see the attached flyer to begin their sign-up.

  • The federal waivers that allowed all students to eat free for the last 2 years have expired and students will need to qualify for free or reduced meals to be able to eat their school meals for free.

District 11 Food and Nutrition Service, along with other districts across the nation, will be returning to the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) this school year. This is the same way meals were served  prior to the pandemic school shutdown

Please see the attached documents for more information and links to the online Free and Reduced Meal Application.
