Hi Blackhawks! 

This is my 5th year here at Audubon Elementary. I am a 5th grade teacher. Before Audubon, I taught 1st grade at Freedom Elementary for 3 years. Before that I taught 3 years of third grade at Lincoln Elementary until it closed. Before that I taught Spanish at Cesar Chavez Academy while getting my teaching license. I went to school at UCCS for my undergradutate degree in Spanish. I then obtained my masters degree through the University of Phoenix in Elementary Education. 

My husband Ralph and I have 4 kids: Tre, Oceanna, Fabiana, and Henry. 

In our freetime, Fabiana and I dance Mexian Folk Dancing, or Ballet Folklorico. Our whole family is actively involved in the powwow community. My husband drums and sings, and my children dance. I get make all the regalia, so I like to sew and bead.
