Performance Streaming Resources

Many excellent performing groups have their videos available to stream for free for a limited time! Please check out the links below to see what is available. I will update this page regularly as I find new options. Keep in mind that some of these sites require creating an account to access the material.
Students - if you want to use a site that requires an account, let your parent create an account and check out any operas, musicals, or anything else with lyrics before you watch them (instrumental videos are generally fine)

Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center
A great resource of recordings and videos. They even have playlists to match your mood or what you'd like to learn about!
They are also releasing a new archived video to listen to at lunch every day at 12:30pm EDT (10:30am here).

The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra by Benjamin Britten
Symphony No. 9 in E Minor "From the New World" by Antonin Dvorak
Enigma, Variations on an Original Theme and Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in E Minor by Edward Elgar
Peer Gynt Suites by Edvard Grieg
Night on Bald Mountain by Modest Mussorgsky
Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 2 by Sergei Rachmaninoff
Scheherazade, Symphonic Suite by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov
L'Oiseau de feu (Firebird Suite), and Le Sacre du printemps (Rite of Spring) by Igor Stravinsky
Piano Concerto No. 1 in B flat Minor, and Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D Major by Pyotr Ilych Tchaikovsky
And literally anything featuring Yo-Yo Ma on cello.
All of these pieces are also available on YouTube if you don't want to create an account with the Berlin Phil.

The Met Opera
The Metropolitan Opera will post a new opera to stream every evening at 7:30pm EDT (5:30pm here) and it will be available until 6:30pm EDT (4:30pm here) the next day. There is a schedule of which opera is available which day on the website.
Students - ask a parent before using this resource.
Parents - I strongly suggest checking out the story of each opera before watching to make sure it's appropriate for your child(ren).
