• Warming up to Health Screening Questionnaires

Posted by CINDY ROOT on 2/23/2021 10:00:00 AM

As our thoughts turn toward the last quarter of the school year and the weather getting warmer, the continued challenges of Health Screening and finding safe ways to accomplish vision and hearing for our D11 students, have been inspiring.

As of today, we have screened our Preschoolers and 9th graders using the new questionnaires. Still, they are not as accurate as in person screenings are and look forward to next school year when we can resume in-person screenings.

Our next round of questionnaires has been sent out to all Kindergarten and 5th grade parents/guardians. If you did not receive a link, you can find one below to fill out for vision and/or hearing.

Again, thank you for your understanding and flexibility in these challenging times.

With all the requirements and challenges that have been put upon us all, the Health Screening department has gotten creative in our screening process for your student(s). With help from the Colorado Department of Education and the District Audiologists, we have created questionnaires to be filled out that will help us determine if your student(s) needs additional screening for both hearing and vision.

Please fill out the questionnaire(s) that have been linked below.

Thank you all for your understanding and flexibility in these challenging times.
