February is National Love the Bus month!
All month long, we want to show our transportation services team how much they are loved and appreciated for getting so many D11 students to and from school safely. These vital employees are valuable assets all year, but this month we can really show them the love! Since 2007, the American School Bus Council has celebrated the influence on learning our transportation staff have through stories. If you’d like to share your appreciation for your school bus driver, visit http://www.americanschoolbuscouncil.org/love-the-bus and tell your story! There are also other activities on that website that will help everyone celebrate Love the Bus month. Be sure to tag @cssd11 on social media when you share photos or stories about our awesome D11 transportation team!

Town Hall Discussions
D11 Superintendent Mr. Michael Gaal and the district leadership team want to hear from you!
Starting in November, the District will host a series of Town Hall Discussions to hear your thoughts and concerns, answer questions, and engage on topics that impact our schools and school district. The first town hall is on November 1, 2022, 6-7 p.m. at Coronado High School, 1590 W. Fillmore St., 80904, in the cafeteria. We will start the conversation with budget updates and answer questions about school budgets but will address topics you bring up, too. If you are not able to attend this town hall, more will be scheduled in the second semester across the District, or you may stream the conversation live at www.D11.org/TV. We hope to engage with you!
