  • May 3-7 is National Teacher Appreciation Week

To say this school year has been incredibly challenging for students, families, and school staff is an understatement. For teachers, this year has been an overwhelmingly long journey that has proven to be hard, but also transformational. As we celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-7, we know our educators have fought hard to keep kids engaged and up to grade level with academics. However, in true educator spirit, they’ve also worked to help students with social emotional challenges, food insecurity, and technology access for remote learning. As we approach the end of this school year, Colorado Springs School District 11 would like to send a heartfelt thanks to all of our educators.
