• Welcome to the 2021-22 school year!

After a year full of new challenges, I am excited to start this school year off more like “normal” – that is, we are starting our sports, clubs, and activities in full swing with no or very little COVID-related restrictions!  Of course, that could all change, and I will communicate any changes that do arise as soon as I learn about them.

One very important thing you should know is that Sabin Middle School values partnering with our families to create the best learning experience for our students.  We maintain high standards of learning and character for all of our students; student-athletes are always students first.  Additionally, we fully acknowledge learning experiences outside the classroom and we work to offer opportunities for each student to feel welcomed, supported, and a strong sense of belonging within the Sabin community.

We welcome you to support your child in any extracurricular activity that he or she is a part of – and we encourage all of our students to be involved in something!  Please refer to our school calendar for upcoming sporting, club, and activity events so that you can support and see the wonderful things happening at Sabin Middle School!  Stay tuned for more updates…

Registration Documents

Students must complete five practices before they are allowed to compete in a game or meet.  All students who wish to participate in interscholastic athletics are expected to maintain grades of Cs or better in all of their classes in order to compete.  Grades are checked weekly.

Prior to the first practice, athletes must turn in to the payment window:

    • The yellow CHSSA Statement by Physician and Parent for Athletic Participation card which requires a physician signature indicating that the student has passed a physical within the year and a parent signature indicating insurance coverage.  Yellow cards are good for one calendar year.
    • The blue Emergency Information/Consent for Emergency Treatment for Interscholastic Activity Injuries card.  This must be filled out prior to each sport.
