My name is Claire Strong. I am from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I moved to Colorado Springs in late May 2013 after completing my master's degree. I attended the University of South Dakota for both undergrad and graduate school. I majored in Physical Education with minors in Adaptive Physical Education, Health, and Coaching: swimming, track & field, and cross-country. I also completed a master's degree program in Technology for Teaching and Training.

I married my husband Cody Strong in June of 2016 surrounded by all our friends and family in Sioux Falls, SD. Our son Gavin was born on July 26, 2018. Every day is a new adventure with Gavin and I love being able to watch him grow and learn.

I also coach with the Falfins swim team here in Colorado Springs. Over the past few summers, I have helped to build the team's summer programs. I have coached year-round swimmers, summer team as well as assisted on deck as the on-site supervisor so the swim lesson program. I was selected twice as a coach for team Colorado at the Midwest All-Star meet in Omaha, NE. I was also selected as a coach for Team Colorado at Western Zones in California two summers ago.
