Tiger Ambush
Welcome to Tiger Ambush, after school enrichment clubs, provided by the fantastic staff at Buena Vista Montessori!
Tiger Ambush will be held every quarter for 6 weeks, providing an after school activity for each grade level every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday after school from 2:30 to 3:30.
Enrollment in clubs will be based on a lottery system.

Herbal Plants and Gardening
with Ms. Chantel
Children will learn about common herbs, botany, herbal lore, and complete herbal crafts.
Drama Club
with Ms. LaShele
Children will create and perform their own play.
Stories that Go Bump in the Night
with Ms. Marni
Children will read a scary/suspenseful story and then create a radio play based on their novel.
OR
Coding Lab
with Ms. Marni
Children will learn problem solving skills using Kodabe and Scratch Coding at their own pace with support from Ms. Marni.
Coding Lab is a prerequisite for the Golden Coders Team, a club held in 3rd quarter.

Primary Storytime

Children will listen to books by Dianna Aston and complete STEM projects based on each book.
Topics covered: rocks, eggs, seeds, butterflies, nests, and beetles.
American Sign Language
with Ms. Lulu
Children will learn basic American Sign Language.
Topics covered: alphabet, all about me, around the house, and at school.

Q1 Tiger Ambush
Check your child's Friday Folder for the sign-up sheet for the 1Q Tiger Ambush!
Clubs will run from August 31st to October 8th.
Fill out and return the sign up form by Tuesday August 24th to be entered in the lottery for club slots.
Enrollment is based on a lottery system. Any forms collected after the 24th will be placed in any remaining open spaces.
You will receive a permission slip Friday August 27th to let you know what clubs your child is signed up for.
