My name is Jeff Smith and I have been the Physical Education teacher here at Stratton Elementary for the last 22 years and loving every minute of it. This is my 27th year in the district, starting my teaching career at Hunt Elementary followed by a year at Wilson and Twain Elementary. In 2003, I recieved the Adaptive Teacher of the year award, from the Colorado Alliance for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance(COAHPERD). In 2016, I recieved the Crystal Apple Award for excellence in teaching. My family and I enjoy going camping in the summer and visiting historic site across the country. Our favorite places to go on vacation are hawaii and Disney world.
