Student Support and Engagement

  • INTRODUCTION

Our vision is to create and support an environment in the District Eleven Community to engage and guide our students toward their greatest opportunities.

The Student Support and Engagement Department provides advice to school officials on guiding discipline matters, provides training for school officials to manage inappropriate student behavior equitably, and protects the due process rights of students who interrupt school rules and policies.

One of the main roles of the department of Student Support and Engagement is to serve as the official attendance office for the District, upholding Colorado Compulsory Attendance Laws.  Overseeing District attendance gives this office opportunities to provide support to families with difficulties attending school.

Our goal is to provide a safe school environment that is conducive to learning, personal growth, and the overall success of all students. This can best be achieved when expectations and consequences are clear and consistently enforced.
