I am a native Texan, but after being an Army spouse for almost 11 years, my husband, two sons, and I decided to call Colorado Springs home in 2014. I started working for D11 at the beginning of the 2017 school year as an English language learners education assistant. Last year I made the leap into teaching as a fourth-grade classroom teacher. This year I have had the pleasure of returning to the area of English language learners as Mann Middle School's ESL Study Skills teacher. I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, Disney, singing, cooking, baking, and reading. I am looking forward to meeting you and having a wonderful school year together.
