For those who are looking to volunteer during this time There are several upcoming URGENT COVID-19 Volunteer Opportunities. 

All nonprofits listed below are taking every health precaution necessary to ensure their volunteers are adhering to the state mandated regulations. Please click the links to learn more and see where you can be a helper!
 (COVID-19) Volunteer Opportunities: 
Pikes Peak United Way - 
Colorado Springs Promise Food Distribution 
Help Pikes Peak United Way in distributing food at Mitchell High School to families in need. 
Date/Time: Thursday April 2nd and 9th from 1:00-4:30PM

Emergency and Disaster Relief Volunteer 
Sign-up to become an emergency and disaster relief volunteer. Currently asking these volunteers to assist in any efforts to provide relief during COVID-19.

Crossfire Ministries - 
Drivers Needed 
Due to a few pantries that have made the hard decision to close, Crossfire Ministries has been asked to take on some additional food pick-ups. Can you assist? 
Date/Time: Flexible to your schedule

Food Pantry Volunteers
Assist with pre-packaging grocery boxes for clients so that Crossfire can continue to serve those in need. 
Date/Time: Currently it’s Tues-Thurs from 10:00AM-4:00PM (shifts will vary depending on state orders)

The Salvation Army - 
Shelter Volunteer 
Help The Salvation Army receive food, unload, sort food, package emergency food boxes for pickup and delivery. In their Colorado Kitchen help with meal prep and cooking or simply with sanitizing throughout.
Date/Time: M-F Various times throughout the day are available.

Jack of All Trades Volunteer
Various opportunities available including kitchen prep, calls of reassurance to clients, food pantry and delivering meals

Donation Drive Manager 
Support Partners in Housing’s effort in securing donations for their residences.

Help Keep Child Care Open!
Please donate cleaning supplies, gloves and toilet paper to help hospital staff and first responders be able to make it to their jobs!
Drop supplies off on Friday 3/27 from 9:00AM-1:00PM at 2340 Robinson St. 
Southeast Donation Drive
Please donate the following items:

·         Diapers
·         Wipes
·         Baby Supplies
·         Children's Cold Medicine
·         General Toiletries
 Drop-off items at the following locations between 9:00AM-2:00PM on any weekday!
